Will global recession impact India or not?
More investors will explore opportunities in India

India will see some challenges due to the economic recession in the US, but it will weed out some good players, or people who may want to move in selectively and make an investment. There is never a bad time, opportunities will always be there.
In Surat, I have an investment in a company that develops a balloon for blockages in heart vessels. Normally, what you witness is India, China, Vietnam are replicating products of someone else. This is the first time an innovation from India by an Indian will go global.
From Make in India, we have now reached the stage of Innovate and Invent in India. Our R&D is going to be such that we will be able to make a global kickback. People will respect not simply as a low-cost resource but as innovators and inventors.
In India, we do not lack intellectual capital. We will be using the same resources domestically as an opportunity. I believe that the next decade will fare well for India, there might be turbulence, but the future looks well.
In India, we believe in entrepreneurship. We always struggle to survive and thrive in challenging times. Investments of less than $10 million are purposeless in the US because the level of funding starts at a range of $50-100 million. So, investors like me will explore the opportunities in India.
